Chloe McCommon, MCD, CCC-SLP
Chloe is a state licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders with a minor in Rehabilitation and Special Education from Auburn University. Chloe received her Master of Communication Disorders degree from Auburn University. She completed her externship at Wrights Mill Road Elementary School in Auburn, AL. She has 7 years of experience with a wide range of speech and language disorders with both the pediatric and adult populations. Chloe has worked in schools, private clinics, and nursing home settings.
Chloe and her husband Ian have two young children, one girl and one boy. They have three fur babies, a cat named Piper and two dogs, Tucker and Palmer!
Emily Manning, MS, CCC-SLP
Emily is a state licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders with a concentration in Human Development and Family Studies from Auburn University. Emily received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Alabama. She completed her externship in Nashville, TN, at Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital. She has 8 years of experience with a wide range of speech and language disorders with both the pediatric and adult populations. She is certified in the AEIOU Systematic Approach to Pediatric Feeding. Emily has worked in private clinics, nursing home, and hospital settings.
Emily and her husband Caro have three children, one girl and two boys. They have two dogs named Tucker and Maggie!

Patty Fenn, MS, CCC-SLP, AOMT-Certified
Patty has over 30 years of experience as an SLP in the pediatric arena. She received a Bachelors of Science degree from Auburn University, and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Montevallo. Patty has worked at various settings around the Wiregrass including Early Intervention, Private Practice Clinics, Public School settings, Department of Defense School System, and as an evaluator for Disability Determination Services. She has mentored many young Speech Language Pathologists and has expertise in Hippotherapy and Aquatic Therapy. Patty began working with Circle City Speech in October 2020. Patty achieved AOMT’s ( Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy) Certification as a Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist in February of 2024. She said, “This has been a game changer and completely changed how I view all my patients. It has helped me seek the overall well being of each patient, not just how to address the communication or feeding disorder.” She also has extensive experience with early language development disorders, articulation and phonological processing disorders, and children with autism. She is an S.O.S Certified Feeding Therapist and has years of experience with Oral Motor and Sensory feeding difficulties. In addition, Patty has been a provider of Teletherapy Speech Services since 2020.
Patty and her husband, Jim, have been married for 31+ years and have two daughters, Bailey and Pamela Claire. They live on a small farm outside of Ozark with four horses, two dogs, and two cats. They love riding horses, dancing and farm life!
Caroline Middlebrooks, SLP-A
Caroline completed her Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Alabama and her Masters in Special Education from the University of Arizona. She served as a Special Education teacher for 4 years. Caroline was born and raised in Dothan. Her and her family moved back to the Wiregrass are in November 2020.
Caroline enjoys hanging out with her family and friends. She has young twins, Calvin and Ruthie, who keep them busy each and every day!

Amber McCollister, MS, CCC-SLP
Amber completed her bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders and her master's degree in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Alabama. She's worked in a variety of pediatric settings since 2008, which include early intervention, outpatient clinics, and the public schools.
Amber is an SOS Certified feeding therapist, is PROMPT and Bridging trained, Beckman Oral Motor trained, and is working to complete her myofunctional therapy certification through the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT). Amber enjoys all aspects of being a speech pathologist but has particular interests in motor speech, feeding, and myofunctional disorders. Amber also has experience treating reading difficulties using the Barton Reading & Spelling System (Orton-Gillingham based approach) and AAC training with Language Acquisition Through Motor Planning (LAMP).
Amber is married to her high school sweetheart and lives in Enerprise. She and her husband have 2 young boys that keep them busy. They relocated back to the Wiregrass area in 2021 after spending 12 years in Florida. They're excited to be able to be near both of their families. They enjoy bowling, going out to eat, traveling, and just spending time together.
Kelsey Szpek, MS, CCC-SLP
Kelsey attended Auburn University for her bachelors and masters degrees! She has a Bachelors Degree in Communication Disorders and a Masters Degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. Kelsey has been working as a full time speech language pathologist for just over a year now! Her experience ranges from working with early language to working with adults in the acute care setting.

Kylie Miller, MS, CCC-SLP
My name is Kylie Miller, and I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 18 years! I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Alabama. I have primarily worked in skilled nursing facilities and private outpatient clinics with kids and adults. I also have experience in the school setting. For the last 7 years, I’ve worked in outpatient pediatrics. I have pursued training in the AEIOU approach to feeding, FEES (flexible endoscopy for dysphagia), LAMP (Language Acquisition through Motor Planning for AAC) and VitalStim (NMES for dysphagia). As a clinician, I am always looking for ways to grow and stay up to date in our field. I truly believe we should never stop learning! I am especially interested in early childhood language development and childhood apraxia of speech, but I enjoy working with kids with a variety of needs and special populations. I am passionate about building bonds with the kids I serve and their families so that we can work together toward the best possible outcomes! I am originally from Headland, but now I live in Dothan with my husband, Tom, and two kids, Kory and Myla Zane. When I am not working, I enjoy Weightlifting, reading, and outings with my family. I love growing my faith, anything purple, giraffes, and Auburn football. War Eagle! I worked with Emily Manning (co-owner) in the past and we have remained friends, so this opportunity is incredibly special to me. I am super happy to be working with her again! I am excited to join the Circle City Speech family and so grateful for the opportunity to serve kids and their families!
Mary Katherine Chapman, SLP-A
Mary Katherine attended the University of Alabama and graduated with her Bachelor's of Communicative Disorders and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. She was born and raised in Dothan, and is excited to be back to provide speech therapy services as an SLP-A.

Brittany Winter, MA, CCC-SLP
Hi Circle City family! My name is Brittany. I've been a speech language pathologist since 2016. I graduated from Western Michigan University with my masters and moved to Colorado to work at Children's Hospital Colorado for 4 years in outpatient pediatrics. Life took a wild turn when I met and married my military, pilot husband and I've been following him around the country ever since (CO, TX, and now AL)! We have a daughter and a golden doodle who keep us busy. As a family we love to travel, camp, make great food, and spend time with friends/family. We are newer to the area and are excited for the adventures Alabama holds!
Megan Hobson, MS, CCC-SLP
Megan received her graduate degree from NOVA Southeastern University. Megan greatly enjoys working with children and helping them find their voice. Megan has worked in a variety of settings including pediatric private practice, skilled nursing facilities, school for children with Autism and related disorders, and district school ecauator. Megan is PECS Level 1 trained and enjoys working with children on the Autism Spectrum and children with language delay. Megan has been married to her husband Shan for 9 years and has two precious boys, Russell and Briggs. Megan also enjoys college football, thegreat outdoors, and spending as much time as she can with her family.
Leah Perkins, SLP-A
"Hello! I am from Enterprise, Alabama. I am married to my husband, Marshall, and have two beautiful children, Devyn and Ella Wynn. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, and painting. I earned my bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Auburn University at Montgomery. I attend Maryville University of St. Louis for my master's degree in speech-language pathology. I have experience as a special education paraprofessional and I am a newly-certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. I enjoy working with the pediatric population but have long term goals of serving the adult population with a focus on aphasia and apraxia. I am excited to be a part of Circle City Speech where I can learn and grow in the speech-language pathology field!"
Mallory Lloyd, CCC-SLP
Mallory is a state licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Auburn University. She married her husband, Garrett, and they moved to Madison, AL for his job. Mallory received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Alabama A&M University. Mallory provided speech therapy services in the school setting for 5 years where she was able to treat a variety of speech-language disorders.
Mallory and Garrett have a precious son, River, and the best dog, May. Mallory enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, traveling, and spending time outside.
Elizabeth Etress, CCC-SLP
Elizabeth is a native of Ozark but has established home in Dothan. She obtained her Bachelors in Communication Disorders from Auburn with a Masters in Speech Language Pathology from Alabama A&M. Elizabeth has experience in working with a variety of speech patients from the educational to medical settings.
Elizabeth and her husband Jody have two children , Grady and Carrye. They enjoy being outside on the farm, baking, and making memories!

Laura Harrell, OTR/L
VP of Occupational Therapy
Laura Harrell is a native of the Wiregrass, born and raised in Dothan. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science at Auburn University in 2012, then went on to earn a Master’s in Occupational Therapy at Alabama State University in 2014. She has worked exclusively with the pediatric population for the past 9 years, in a variety of settings including private outpatient clinic, schools, and Early Intervention. Ever since completing a pediatric fieldwork while in graduate school, helping children and their families as an occupational therapist has won her heart. She is passionate about working with children with Cerebral Palsy and other neurological disorders, Brachial Plexus Injury, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and developmental disorders. She also has a special interest in helping children that have difficulty with handwriting skills.
Laura is married to her high school sweetheart, David. They have two beautiful girls, Callie and Mary Brooke, and 4 dogs.
“I have always been an Auburn fan, but one of my favorite Auburn memories was winning the national championship my first year as an Auburn student! War Eagle!! I enjoy riding our family’s side-by-side, having girls’ night with friends, and going to the beach and lake. I enjoy being a part of the community through social clubs and service organizations like Junior League of the Wiregrass.”
Angela Fenelon, OTR/L
Angela graduated from Texas A&M Univesity with a Bachelor's of Science in Allied Health and a minor in Psychology. Angela received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the Utica Collega. She has worked primarily in pediatrics for the last 10 years in both private clinics and schools. Angela was born in Texas but has lived all over thanks to her militarty spouse. Her and her husband moved to Dothan last year and stay busy trying to keep up with their three kids. They love going to the beach, eating good food, and watching Aggie football!

Adrianna Seals, Patient Services Coordinator
Adrianna is our patient services coordinator. She will be your contact for insurance questions, precertifications, billing questions, referral updates, scheduling, and all things related to patient services.

After college, I decided to take a different route and dive into Health Administration which I love dearly! In my free time, I love to cook, work out, and spend time with my kids. Emma Brooke Kinsey, Administrative Assistant
Emma Brooke is our administrative assistant. She comples various office tasks such as answering the phones, schedulding, etc to help our therapists focus more on patient care.
Hi, my name is Emma Brooke Kinsey! I am from Dothan, AL and a graduate of Troy University with Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies. I enjoy being surrounded by family and friends, spending time by the pool, and trips to Target. I am so excited to continue to grow with Circle City Speech!
